As of January 30, 2001 Westmont Construction generously donated office space
to N2R. Our new office address is 4731 El Camino Avenue in Carmichael. We
are located at the corner of Mission and El Camino.
We met Sue and Bernie Sequeira last March when we began the massive
renovation effort at the Sacramento Police Athletic League. Sue and Bernie
worked with us lovingly and diligently since last March to renovate the
downstairs area in the Sacramento Police Athletic League (PALs). Throughout
that process, Sue and Bernie became not only trusted colleagues but dear
friends. They arranged help for us to move out of PALS in January. Without
them, the move would not have been possible, as the move was under very
difficult circumstances. Their high standards, incredible generosity and
strong ethics make them stand high above the rest of the crowd. We are so
fortunate to have N2R located in their office.
The following organizations and individuals rallied together and contributed
over $100,000.00 in resources and cash to make the center a positive and
upbeat place for the kids to know people really care and want to make their
lives a little more promising.
- Westmont Construction
Donated significant amounts of time and money in labor and materials to N2R
for PALs. Westmont helped N2R in arranging for Home Depot and Kelly Moore
to donate necessary materials. Principal owners Sue and Bernie Sequeira
couldn't have done more to make the renovation a total success. Sue and
their crew worked tireless hours to turn a multi-year project into six
months. Westmont Construction 's motto should be "we do the best and most
honest work, give you trustworthy advice, have high standards, strong
ethics, we demonstrate excellent follow-through and we work
enthusiastically." Westmont Construction can be reached at: 800-342-3922 or 916-482-3922.
- Home Depot
Donated two heaping full shopping carts worth of materials to N2R for PALs.
- Bank of America & Fair Oaks Blvd. Nursery
Jointly donated outside shrubbery, potting soil and cash to beautify the
outside.
- Councilwoman Lauren Hammond
Without her generosity, the renovation project wouldn't have taken place.
Councilwoman Hammond donated $15,000.00 towards the project.
- e. Republic
Arranged for the STL LTd. donation of 3500 square feet of blue carpet.
- Lynette Kleinfeld Interiors
Donated her time in assisting N2R picking colors and arranged for world
renowned artist Joanne Lindemann to paint the hallways.
- Joanne Lindemann
Donated her time to painting and stenciling the hallways and recreation
room.
- Robert Simas Floor Coverings
Discounted the labor for taking out the old carpet and installing the new
one. Donated all the tile for the hallway.
- STL Ltd.
Donated approximately 3500 square feet of carpet.
- PALs Kids
Welcomed all the sponsors and N2R enthusiastically. Provided help during
the renovation by painting, sweeping, and being good-hearted and cheerful.
